so saturday, i was working rootfire setting up, giving out beer, dancing, and
just enjoying such a beautiful sunny and cool florida day. but, while setting up, someone came to me and said, 'oh, that guy, he surfs all the time and said yesterday [friday] was double over head.' and i don't drop the whole, 'i've been surfing 20 years' line but i did. friday was not double over head. inside the cape. unless you are a grom. i don't care what surf school you run... it wasn't ------------------------- hey, i don't know if you read this yet ----------> I <3 16streets.com thank you Sean O'hare Delicious beer comes from here |

That's ok, had a dude tell me there were 10ft faces out there... After I spent all morning surfing that spot and was back for round 2. Just classic over stoke from going so long with crappy waves. |

I'd say that wave, and a whole lot of waves I surfed on Friday at da light were 2' feet overhead!

i'm sure that i'm a lil taller than her
so head high+ to maybe 2ft overhead at most but not double overhead i mean, c'mon.... think about that for just a sec we only get that double overhead tick on some occasions but not this past week/weekend but me being.... out of commission... if i were to surf, that wave pictured above would be a LOT overhead since i have to belly ride in. #SacrificialCow ------------------------- hey, i don't know if you read this yet ----------> I <3 16streets.com thank you Sean O'hare Delicious beer comes from here |

Like that time you told me it was double overhead at Playalinda and I load the troops up only to see it lapping on shore when we got there................. never said it was that big but i did surf it with about 20 other people should've been there when i was
