I havea couple of days that My wife and I can do a trip over to the east coast of Florida. Normally we head to St Augestine . I have been told that, that area is pretty Trashed.  How is areas around vero beach looking?

Yeah, we got pretty trashed, but it's very hit or miss.....  depends where you were planning on staying (alot of the damage was to ICW residential neighborhoods)

At least there won't be alot of tourists around..... and local businesses could sure use your $
