I think you are safe from having to put your plywood back up. There isnt a single model that places that anywhere close to us.
There is hope for it to generate swell for us though. |

I like that the system looks to give us a change up of the current onshore wind regime. PLUS, swing a cold front through florida on Friday night!

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 800 PM EDT TUE OCT 18 2016 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: 1. A non-tropical low pressure system located about 250 miles northeast of the Turks and Caicos Islands is producing a large area of cloudiness and thunderstorms that extends from near Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic northeastward over the Atlantic for several hundred miles. Upper-level winds are forecast to become more conducive for this system to acquire some tropical characteristics, and a subtropical or tropical cyclone is likely to form within the next few days. The low is forecast to move northward to north-northwestward on Wednesday and Thursday, before turning north-northeastward and merging with a cold front over the western Atlantic by the weekend. A NOAA Hurricane Hunter aircraft is scheduled to investigate this system tomorrow afternoon, if necessary. Regardless of development, locally heavy rainfall is possible over the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. and British Virgin Islands tonight and Wednesday. * Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...60 percent * Formation chance through 5 days...high...80 percent |
