With a weak to moderate swell window along the length of the waiting period and showing mostly unfavorable winds, its looking bleak and rather unentertaining for the event that is supposed to be the barrel fest, big wave gem of the World Tour. Surely there will be a wave here & there to tickle watchers fancy, but overall, its gonna be a grovel fest, turn oriented, punt & flip kinda comp. Should definetely shake up & rearrange the top 20 in weird and unexpected ways and surely yank the #1/Yellow jersey from Wilko. Probably put it into a Gabbi -vs- JJF finale going into Europe & Trestles, and unless those both,(Surfers/comps),  produce "All-Time" conditions and performaces, then this will be the weakest, most lackluster, uneventful tour year in over a decade and Pipeline better produce 10fold!! Wish theyd bring back GLand, Mexico, & Indo and dump Brazil & West Oz and bring it back to the "Dream Tour"!!! And "PLEASE" let BobbyM. back on tour & give Mason more Wildcards!!! #GoSeabass      Col. SV

I was going to say something earlier, but didn't. For example, take "Cloudbreak" this year, , , ,. Ya, sure, it was good, and all that. BUT, it was not the Cloudbreak we are used to. And, yet, the commentary sounded like it was All Time Epic. Not.

Well one thing DingPatch is that they are going to all these places at the wrong time of the swell windows so they can fit West Oz & Brazil in!!! They should spend from May thru August in the S. Pacific & Indian Oceans, put GLand back in, dump Brazil, and even add Cave Rock to the S. Africa leg, and the Mexican right that the Search hit in O6' should be on the plate!!! West Oz is a windy wash, even with the Box, which rarely lives up!!! Hell, Puerto Escondido would be better, safer, & cleaner than Brazil, & its world class at 3'-5'!! Kieran Perrow, Samsung, & the WSL need to regroup!!! And Sunset should be a tour comp with local trials and Haliewa deciding what locals and QS' guys get in!!! I hope France & Portugal blow minds, or the year is a Flail as I see it!! No wonder KS11 isnt in the top 10; hes bored and wanting!!

Could be reminiscent of Kelly's 2010 IMAX movie, The Ultimate Wave Tahiti which was an impressive 3-D film but there wasn't much swell in the water when the production crew was at Teahupo'o. As a result, the movie's highlights were Kelly and his pal Raimana Van Bastolaer on SUPs, and girlfriend Kalani Miller looking goooood on the three-story high IMAX screen.

Oceancat; I doubt that itll be like that, but the new kids, feather foots, and airguys definetely have advantage over guys like Kai, Ace, Conner, KS11, and Wilko!!! Its still gonna tube though!!!! Im calling SEABASS!!!!
