It will fit in a prius with the seats down. Not the answer you wanted though.

Not sure about the Honda but we recently bought my wife a 2015 Prius and the thing is pretty epic. It fits both logs inside but you can get good racks for the top. The things is incredible on gas. They changed the body style this year and personally i don't think they look as good but thats just my opinion. Wish we bought her one sooner.

If you like Honda- Why not get a Honda Fit ? Would be way more convenient, get 35 mpg and not have the battery issues to deal with

Ill tell you this much my pops drives a 2002 RSX type s. Super small tiny car dosnt look like it could fit a 7'6'' butttt it will hold up to 9'3'' with the trunk closed and sealed... If your car is a 4 door Honda and the seats go down in the back you should be money

2006 Prius will take up to 10'6" SUP, I believe, with a little angle Insight has a teenier motor... I'd go for the throatier power of the Toy, LOL!
