ww Posts: 16097 Joined Forum: 08/17/2007	Squishy boards apparently got started as "blackball beaters", i.e. exempt from the surfboard ban at the Newport Wedge and I suppose some other places (at Newport, yellow flag with a big black circle). They're good for shorebreak situations--relatively cheap and somewhat less likely to break.
