NHC shows another one with better odds coming off Africa. I think that is what you guys are talking about

Yeah for possible surf next week (and rain) with that tropical wave. However, I just briefly looked and that wave may go too far south, thus, the bahama shadowing will be effect...i.e. go North of the cape for bigger surf.

4-7+ Day Wind/Wave Forecast

Please Note: This extended portion of the surf forecast will periodically be extended and continually tweaked, or even radically changed (up or down), as model analysis of potential wave-generating weather systems warrant. In other words, don't plan your sick days more than 3 days in advance based on this portion of the forecast

MONDAY: Wind light/variable in the morning, becoming onshore from the ESE with waves up some during the afternoon to 1-occ 1.5? (+/-0.5?) in moderate to occ longer period E/ESE swell.

TUESDAY: Wind light SW/S in the morning, then onshore in the afternoon with waves up some more to 1-occ 2? (+/-0.5?) in moderate to occ longer period ESE swell.

WEDNESDAY (3August): Wind light south in the morning, becoming onshore late morning through the afternoon with waves holding at 1.5-2? (+ pm) in moderate to long period ESE swell.

THURSDAY: Wind light SW/W in the morning, becoming SE 5-12 mph in the afternoon with waves 1.5-2.5? (occ +) in moderate to long period ESE/E ground swell

It is rocking! 9 feet and 10 seconds. ESE angle. Hopefully enough angle to make it around the Bahama Block.

Lunchtime session in Indi, small knee-waist semi-choppy, all kinds of upwellings and water temp & thermos, Chilly to normal water temps, outdside, cold water on the bottom. big shark hiting bait 20 feet away, did see one legit 2 wave "set" but really not much yet...Murky, brown, seaweed and shark(s), not the best water conditions. Hoping for more size later...
