Dropped a few dollars to catch a matinee showing of this new movie the other day. Had heard almost nothing about the film before plunking myself down to see it.

Don't want to say much to spoil it for anyone else who's interested in seeing the film; just wondered if any here had, and what you all thought ...

it's like a predictable, bloodier, Blue Crush. 

I was dragged to it by one of my crew.  Very cheesy, but I did laugh alot.  Not enough surfing footage either.  If you're not a big One Direction fan, I'd pass on this one....  LOL

Lets just say I walked out.  Which I rarely do, i can only recall one other time I did and it was when I saw Abe Lincoln the vampire slayer.  The water was beautiful, the girl was fine, even the surfing was decent.  I just got annoyed during it, her shark bite wasn't that bad.  The one that happened in Satellite looked worse.  The shark was like 35 foot white pointer... go see finding dory at least its entertaining

Tough crowd here ... Haha!

I liked it enough to sit through it. But then, I had almost no expectations.

Great photography, though if you went to see lots of surfing you were sure to disappointed.

The girl made a one or two really bad mistakes, early on. Don't wanna say much more, for those who wanna see it.
