7 days a week on (at least) 7 different boards...!

fausteddie uses the iframe embed link and gets a text blob in the post.

SpinK uses the exact same iframe embed link and gets the video to embed directly in the post.

So, what's the difference?  Maybe I can avoid using CLICK ME if there's an answer.

Maybe fausteddie added an extra click? That dude likes his clicks....

Maybe in personal options of the profile you need to have "html" as the editor type selected?

THAT is what FLORIDA surfers dream of! At least me.. I've yet to surf a point break, and even though this one is going "the wrong way" (I go LEFT! goofyfootersRULE!!) lol, I'd definitely tear that wave up! Thanks for sharing mang.

Alright so I've been California dreaming too. Check this out, so my neighbors are carny's ok like management level carny's they work the midway and payment systems for various fairs and carnivals around the U.S.,and I look after their place while their on the road. Well one of the fairs they work is the California state! They live right on the fairgrounds, closest man made structure to Ventura/ surfers point! I could roll out of bed and into a legit Cali point break. I'm realy thinking about tagging along this year. Anyone familiar with that break or the fair that shares the same parking lot. Someone call me in!

Also,

Watching that video, I'd say at least 4-6 boards got dinged up pretty bad due to the crazy crowded lineup.. Is this the norm out there? #notcool! I've been DYING to hitup the west coast for some of that pacific juice, but if its like that everywhere every time.. I'm kind of reconcidering.. lol

How about like at Dawn Patrol???

We don't have a mailbox, but your genius and good will is appreciated!

This is not a new video, but it's Rincon and the best move I've seen in surfing happens at 1:43...

100% true. I was in San Diego a few weeks ago. Between the pier and Old Man's (about the same distance as all of Boardwalk, 1500 yards or so)  prolly 400 KOOK IDIOTS out, every wave a party wave. Wavestorms, old logs, new logs, shortboards, boogie boards, kite boards, paddleboards, wave skis ect... A dozen cut offs on every wave.

I surfed elsewhere. I'd rather surf a somewhat localized regulated lineup and pick up the scraps and work my way in, than tolerate a moron war zone.

DP was better, but not a cure.

My experiences in California have been better north of LA as far as crowds go. South of LA, the crowds would get a bit lighter after the school/work crowd paddled in (after 9am). DP was brutal at the more high profile spots/points.

My top spots are Windansea (I've heard others say on this forum that no wave is worth fighting for, but I'd fight any man alive for some of the waves I've had at this spot when it turned on) and Bird Rock, but guys paddle out in the dark (for real) to get it early.

Everybody and their mom drives around with a board in their car to get in the water whenever time permits throughout the day too.

Speaking of, looks like a little something for the weekend here in FLatsville, USA!

Yes, plenty of room north of Santa Barbara.

I never did see anybody out at Surf Beach (Vandenberg AFB).

People do surf there, and occasionally get eaten.
