Most people on this forum may not know the Rohmann's, but trust me Robert and his dad are fantastic surfers. I surfed with Bob (dad) last fall during the epic storms and saw him in March during that nice swell we had. I knew Robert had a few problems, but nothing Bob spoke about of this level.

Very sad to hear of his condition and hope for a recovery to a normal life for him and his family.

I just wish when we give money; the organization would not take such a large chunk of your donation. Send the $$$ directly to Bob then they keep 100% of the generosity.

Agree the Rohmann's are expert watermen, surf, fish, dive; very experienced and always willing to help out others on the water.

Aside from being a great surfer and waterman, just an all around great guy. Donation made.

Great surfer is an understatement. The first time I ever saw Robert surf, he came out of a barrel and did a big alley oop air. He was about 11 or 12 years old at that point in time.  ...I was like, who the heck is that!?!

He literally is one of the best, if not the best fisherman in Brevard. He was always super, super fit and active - fast swimmer and fast on a bike.

Amazing guy that would give you shirt of his back, with no questions asked. He's a great father too.

It's hard for me to believe that someone so fit, young and good at everything can have health issues. Robert is going to kick this things ass.

Ricky Carroll is having a huge benefit for the Rohmanns next Monday 6/20 at the shop in Rockledge. Raffles, silent auction with all proceeds going to them. Lots of primo surf stuff from wax to rare boards. Noon on... Check their FB, twitter etc R and D surf

Doh... Hadn't scrolled down to other thread yet... No harm in getting the word out  again though...

Too many paddle outs for the Satellite Beach area...This makes me sad.

Prayers to the Rohmanns.

If success in life is measured by the number of people who attend your funeral, or in our surfing world, your paddle-out, then Robert was the most successful person I have had the privilege of knowing.

On this day ... a sad day 1 year ago today.

We visit his grave every chance we get. He still has no head stone. No one talks about this, but I have to say this man deserves one. His wife and children have been kicked to the curb literally. They were kicked out of the home she and Robert raised their family in.

I'm not sure what happened, but if you care for them or his memory, this is your chance.
