After ironing out a couple of kinks we are back up to 3 nearshore buoys in the water. We got the Indialantic buoy out on 4/13 and Cocoa Beach went back out yesterday. Current surf conditions can be found at www.checkthewaves.com ------------------------- www.checkthewaves.com Where're you checkin |

We shoot for the 30 ft line at low tide so they are typically between half a mile to a mile offshore. ------------------------- www.checkthewaves.com Where're you checkin |

Would be great to get a couple off Palm beach county. Maybe we could figure out this refraction swell thing better. What does it take to get one put in? ------------------------- WPTV NewsChannel5/Fox 29 Snapchat: Surfnweatherman |

Hi jwieland, It takes sponsorship to get one in the water. At the moment we are funding this out of our own pockets and are looking at various sources of revenue to make this a sustainable venture. Our immediate goal is to deploy one off Daytona Beach and then run a crowdfunding project to raise funds to deploy 4 more in Florida including West Palm Beach. We currently have a permit for West Palm Beach in the vicinity of Palm Beach Inlet. That said we will alter plans if sponsorship becomes available for any location. I don't want to overstep the bounds of this forum so if you would like more info on how to get one in the water you can contact us directly through http://www.checkthewaves.com ------------------------- www.checkthewaves.com Where're you checkin |

Thanks man, .there are plenty of charters and other outlets that would benefit from this that you could hit up for sponsorship. good luck! ------------------------- WPTV NewsChannel5/Fox 29 Snapchat: Surfnweatherman |
