Had to reply to cheaterfive's comment. DCB was so far ahead of his time. He was making these ~5.5 space ships with channels, wings, crazy rails. He was an insane talent. I remember him in PR making a board in the morning for a noon go out at perfect Tres Palmas. the first day of the swell he was on one of his small boards and realized (I guess) that he need more foam...so made a 7'0 that next AM. TP was empty...this was in the early 80's.

I was glassing DCB's boards for Gary Propper, so I got to see everyone, today there is the uproar about E-wings, DCB was doing them in '74, concave decks, boards under 5 feet.

I loved when he rode a longboard in a pro event and the other "pros" cried foul, boohoo, he never went about beating his own drum, long live DCB
