dingpatch Posts: 19070 Joined Forum: 07/24/2003	A couple months ago, Martin told me he had some "balsa pieces" that I could have for fins, , , ,. I dropped by his shop yesterday to check-out his boards, and shaping bays, and he says ", , , , wait, I've got that balsa for you, , , ," Well, OK, I'm never one to turn down wood, , , ,. This is what he gave me; all Peruvian wood and, I think the best thing is that the glue-ups were done years ago and while in storage, they were eaten on by some beetles! So, all of the larger pieces are wormed! Excellent! The ones in the middle will be Futures, the ones on the left will be D's, and the ones on the right will be keel/sidies. dingpatch Posts: 19070 Joined Forum: 07/24/2003	Thank you T&C! Now, here is the first "D" fin out of these glue-ups. 8 1/2 with 8 1/4 base. Blue Ice bead. This has the epoxy sealing coat on it, but it does represent what it will look like wihen glassed. ------------------------- Dora Hates You
