Which is more of a classic style longboard....the Perch or the Right Coast Cruiser? Both look great!

Both are beautiful boards that work well. The Perch is also only available as a single fin so in my opinion it's classic!

I got a new nose rider from Tom a few months ago, not a Perch model (custom) but with some of the concepts baked in, and with that real pretty ice blue resin tint.
It's already getting me more tip time.

Staytrue. didn't you mean the Perch is only available with a single fin?

The original was a custom for me before it was put in to production so I can tell you anything you'd like to know about the shape and how it rides. The concept is taken from a 1960s Jacobs 422. On a side note the Perch is my son's model with Tom so I can answer any questions about it as well. That's me riding the alchemist in the link.

Thanks for the reply...So for an average middle aged longboarder in Brevard, how does it compare to a typical noserider or performance shape? I don't do anything particularly well or bad, just an average Joe...

The description on the site is extremely accurate. I'd say you don't have to be an expert to ride it well. It's a noserider for sure and really increases your time on the nose with an extremely stable platform. The reduced tail width really allows it to turn like a smaller board. You can order it with a single dark wood. Stringer as well that will reduce the weight a bit. It's a 60's performance board if that makes sense. Dennis has two in stock at Core surf that you can put your hands on.
