If you click on the site, you have to shuffle through the slide show of Huck, Hacks, and finally the Big Wave winner. They didn't do a "Win, Place, or Show" format, just the 1st Place Winner, which was disappointing for all the entrants who participated.

I hope Sammy and Chris showed up, because it said "Must be Present to Win". I assume he did since they announced them as the winners.

I am glad someone from Brevard County won since all the judges are from J-Ville, but when you see all the pics, he was the obvious winner.

That's one sick bottom turn. Dont like think I've ever seen anyone lay into a bottom turn like that in FL.

Sam is a great dude. But no way that was the best wave of the fall.

Well, its all about what was captured and submitted. Im sure there were better that weren't captured on film, but check out the full photo. That's one rockin bottom turn. I can say that Ive never driven off the bottom like that.

Too much work to see what might be considered the biggest ride from a poorly laid out website... Too bad. Could have been interesting.

Does this help?

Sammy

I didn't embed the photo because it's too wide for the forum.
Marvel at the link. (And no, I'm not the photog, just a linker.)

Sick shot, now to really stir the soup......how big is this wave, in feet or goats? I would call it an 8' face...... 4' Hawaiian
