One of the things I've read that comes from "meta" studies is that over nutrition (via supplements) is not a good thing. Supplements have not proven to be very beneficial unless you are truely lacking a particular vitamin or mineral. IMO, the best things you can do are 1) Eat real food - ie stay away from processed food - make your own meals, 2.) exercise regularly, 3.) Eat a balanced diet - and mix it up (dont eat the same thing every day, 4) get your sleep, 5) get a decent amount of regular sunshine, 6) dont drink more than 2 oz alcohol, or smoke on a regular basis, 7) minimize wheat, dairy, sugar, caffeine, and salt, 8) drink filtered water, 9) dont let work get the best of you, and last, but bot least 10) go surfing

Hemlock -> death

Just because it comes from nature doesn't necessarily mean that it's good for you.

Here is an interesting and quite surprising study.

Well of course not and anyone that thinks like that probably doesn't deserve to contribute to the gene pool.

Over nutrition of normal vitamins and minerals is generally a bad idea. There are certain compounds though where that does not apply. The key point is to know what you are taking,the science behind it, genetic interactions, and if it has an acceptable risk/benefit ratio for you.
