LOL... I know you just having a lil bashing fun
Reality though...
Pierson Prince in #s 3, 4 and 13 rips harder than any of you
GP Floyd #11 surfs as well as anyone around here including local semi-pros
#12 is a solid shortboard and longboard ripper
SUPr (not a pier local) had sum high line speed drifts, one of only a few I've seen that can actually surf

I've seen pics from this photog before too...

Of course we have dozens of pic threads going in here and the pier is the only one with any negative feedback

Yea I think my sarcasm detector was broken

I know some people have time restraints and have to paddle out anywhere and get a few before work ect. But I have a feeling most of those guys CHOSE to surf that place. That makes them kooks. I rode up and checked it a couple times and it was at least 5ft smaller then it was 5 miles south. I'm not complaining if that's your thing good on ya. It's pretty much like going to Hermosa and surfing Jaco the whole time.

Just checked satellite bch and it is still solid head high with nne winds, came up to the pier hoping to get a few with slightly offshore winds and it's barely waste high with slightly offshore winds.

The thing those photos don't show you is every one of those waves were close outs. The pier sucks and the sand bars were ruined with the beach replenishment. Destroyed. It is always twice as big a few miles down south and breaks much better down there. It is amazing that any one would be caught surfing at the pier who dint need a rental board and a life jacket and a skinny 16yo kid who sits in a tall red chair who will rescue you from fish hooks and jelly fish. Usually, people that surf at the pier are just kooks on vacation who don't know you can get waves 10 times better a few miles down south and free parking down there also and free wax from the Billabong tour bus sometimes.

I can't believe surfthecoochie of all people are dissing the pier because you can get it bigger elsewhere. LMAO
