As ding patch says. It's a remake not a sequel so Keanu and Gary are not necessary. But I agree. Would have been cool to see them back in action. Ie: bodie survived the closeout. Washed up a few miles down the coast and starts robbing banks in superhero masks instead of presidents masks years later. HOLD ON. That sounds like the first point break (thinks: might as well do remake). Well I guess Hollywood execs figure new fresh faces that can probably handle a little more of their own stunts.

Looks like xmas release date.

Maybe some of the action will be good in the new Point Break. But honestly the first Point Break was not all that great. Weak plot, bad writing and nothing   A half Drunk Gary Busey doing his best at being a really bad actor  Keanu doing his best at imiating a Valley Girl imitating talking like a cool Surfer dude.   As surfers we should have sued for Defamation of Character.  The FBI should have framed the cast and crew and locked them away.  

 Yeah I thoght it was a waist of money. Beach Blanket Bingo had more to do with Surfing. After all Someone at least yells " Surfs Up!"

 

Weak plot? Weak writing? I will not stand for this. I am upset that this b movie gem is being re polished. What's next? So I married an ax murderer? Let's hope not.

The trailer looks really good.

I watched about a minute and knew I want to see it so I didn't watch the rest. I hate trailers. They reveal way to much!

Entertaiment should be just that, Entertaining.  I like a good cops and robbers movie and over the top action films that at least have some good over the top I can't believe he did that action.  Pointless Break I mean Point Brakes  is Enertaining to maybe a per-teen girl making moon eyes at Swayze and Reeves.    I will stop now, evidently many here have had childhood fantasies of being Johnny Utah or Bodie.  

Now before you blow a gasket.  I will make this public confession.  i have a fondness for another bad Hollywood Surf Movie North Shore. Yes I should be ashamed.

 The only real surf movie out of hollywood is Surfs Up.  I love those Penguins.    

 

Rosie sticking the knife in the lighter fluid... come on  man. all that you said is what made it epic....

 

Now if you read it just as a surf movie, than yea it was terrible... but as a movie, a terrible great terrible movie... it was epic

I had friends that worked on the crew of Big Wenesday. Othere were extras on the Film.  Peter St Pierre did the fake Balsawood airbrush  ALSO KNOWN AS Falsawood on the Boards. Billy Hamiton shaped most of the " Bear" Surfboards for the movie.  We had a group of about 15 or so go to the opening in San Diego. I wanted it to be a great movie I really did.
