Went down to mel  bch to surf with a buddy on the incoming tide. Seaweedy and sloppy, but there were a few good lefts linking. 

Yes I too did get a hint of "sargassum" ;-)

Time and tide wait for no one.....

Caught some fun surf at SI late Monday afternoon. Still had hordes in the back pond and BBQing but only a few on the beach and 6 or so surfing.

surfed around low tide. left around noon and cars were lined up from the guard shack to the road.

Did anyone else get lit up by sea lice?? are they more pronounced when all the seaweed is around?

I was waiting for someone to bring this up, I was further south than my usual break around paradise beach and they were tagging me all over, sea weed,, sea lice,, whatever it was Itchin!

That was my second session. My first I got up there around noon and cars were lined up 6 deep in a1a not even getting to the entry road so I surfed up the beach at Spanny.
