KP I am doubtful the RC will have the bottom contours of the Gato. Gatos usually have a fair amount of belly and hullish entries. If you are looking for a good mid length single fin with the attributes of the Gato. Id go either with Mayo or Gum surfboards. I am currently frothing over a 7'6 single from GUM that is absolutely the best all around board I have ever used. Hullish entry, wide point slightly back of middle and vee out the back. Big flex fin. Glide in super small stuff and hauls in head high stuff.

It looks a lot like the 7'2" funshape thruster I got from Greg Loehr 20 years ago, which is still one of the most magical boards in my quiver, especially in surf that size.

I'd love to have a 6'2" of the same thing.

I've seen similar relics from the same era locally; I think RC popped out several back in the day.
