I'm working on the sequel to my novel My Twisted Summer -- A Brevard County surfing thriller. The sequel is titled Subterranean Summer. There's an underground surfing utopia.

I'm asking surfers three questions as research for the sequel.

1. Do you believe we will surf in the afterlife?

2. In the afterlife, what kind of conditions would you like to surf?

3. Besides surfing in the afterlife, what else could you do to pass the time?

Thanks for the feedback! Post responses here.

With all due respect you don't NEED a board, body surfing is a lot of fun, if the after life provides one (some kind of physical body to react with something else of a physical nature). Other than that I'll step up for an answer or two in order of the asking.

1. I don't know for sure, but I'm hopeful. None of my "passed on" buddy's have uttered a word yet.

2. Head head high or somewhat larger left point break. (Nothing that might send my old ass to the "afterlife" too early.)

3. This is a PG13 website

1. I don't believe there is any such thing as an afterlife. Make the most of this one.
2. See 1
3. See 2

1.The concept of afterlife is humanity's way of dealing with the existential fear of death. It is fiction.
