Thanks Guys. THe net looking stuff is Vector net, Its Kevlar its suppose to add strength and some weight. It was a test to see if it will keep me from compressing the foam.

Both the Blue boards with the vector net are mine. Im Jack.

They are a test run to see how the vector holds up and how the over all board will last. IM hard on boards so trying something new to see if it helps.

Hmmmmmm, , , , should definitely add "strength" to the overall board, but I'm guessing that it will not help with spot compressions. But, your results may vary.

I would say that the "net" is carbon fiber as Kevlar is a gold color......
My favorite windsurfer (9'6") had a carbon fiber inlay like tuxedo
stripes.
