Just as with Christmas, when I go out and chop down my own tree, I like to go out and bag my own turkey for Thanksgiving. I had his head down on the woodstump, shiny sharpened axe in hand and asked Tom the final question "Any last requests?" Usually this is just a formality as I don't understand Turkish, the turkey clucks and gobbles a few times, I shake my head and proceed with the task at hand. I swear as I lifted the axe, the turkey looked me dead in the eye and gobbled "shorebreak". Request granted. Plus, now he's "pre-brined".
