I was close to it Friday. small and closed out. maybe close to the jetty it might have been fun on the longboard. No worse than the closeouts at the end of my street on Friday.

My 1st look said "small and closed out". Paddled out and it was so much fun that my chicken-pox looking, horribly itchy body was well worth it.

Friday was rockin. solid 4 ft. sets. too many jellies in the water that day.

Yes, on a good cold front the place rocks. Check it out once in  awhile.

Jetty park is a flat wasteland that never gets waves, ever! Don't even bother checking the place. Trust me the best thing there is 24 hr bathroom when you really have to go! Did I mention it costs money to get in!

I live next to Cherie Down and keep considering surfing there everytime we have an East Swell, but then I check out behind my house and it's always small and still closing out.

paddling around the wave instead of going through the
impact zone like all the other doh dohs.

definitely a great day of surf

You talking about inside the inlet??
. Surfed it back in late eighties/early nineties it was a fun wave. Wedge that faded into the channel.

jetty park sucks...swell never reaches all the way inside the cape shadow. it costs money to get in. Always a ton of tourists wading around in the surf area. if your in the area, the pier almost always has a better and bigger wave. Its always a huge let down to pay money to get in, only to find crappy microwaves

While I agree it sucks, the cape shadow doesnt come into play on swell direction like the one in question. But yeah, I still wouldn't surf there.

JP is the one inlet I dominate. Kooks are welcome. Rippers need to go back to mainland, kook.

Only beach in brevard county that always smells like cruise ship piss.  But true east swell is the only thing that ever works since they screwed up the old inlet.  Still no pics?  must have been shooting the hired bikini models from O-town not you..

so i'm in the way when i can clearly see that there is more
than enough space between myself and the path of the
wave was breaking?

a solid 10m between myself and the person riding

it's pointless to paddle through the impact zone when there
is a rip with the ability to pull people out without being in the
way at all.

Maybe they shot their board at you because you shred so hard. Go back to da mainland, rippah!

Maybe you should not be a douche when you reply

We already talked about the whole 'people from Orlando'
Crap that you're trying to start

Get over it...

I was in the right and I avoided having a surfboard hit
Me. The fact that someone was even claiming localism
At jetty park is ridiculous all in its own
