SATURDAY NIGHT  NORTH NORTHWEST WINDS 10 TO 15 KNOTS. SEAS  3 TO 5 FEET WITH OCCASIONAL SEAS TO 6 FEET. INTRACOASTAL WATERS  A LIGHT CHOP. A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.  

SUNDAY  NORTH NORTHEAST WINDS 10 TO 15 KNOTS. SEAS 3 TO 5 FEET  WITH OCCASIONAL SEAS TO 6 FEET. INTRACOASTAL WATERS A LIGHT CHOP.  A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS.

 

Not to be a downer...but if I remember back to when South Florida had waves...

3-5 ft with seas up 6, usually = knee high

4-6 ft, occ. 8 ft seas is usually waist high

6-8 ft seas = chest to bigger wedges

North of Jupiter Inlet those NWS wave heights have a more direct relation to actual wave size.
