Nice. It was a good swell for longboarding.

Don't know where you surfed but the waves were breaking fast alot of locations and longboarders/FunShapes were making them alot more than shortboarders- for exampl PAFB. Of course there were breaks more better for shortboarding. Spanny for example.

yep, all of what you said there was definitely happen'in where we are too, 'cept the longboard deal. This swellage for us was a rock'in for gun like shapes that really covered distance through driv'in turns. ya, shorties seemed not to be able to make up the distance needed to make the fast walls, when our guns we're a '''jammin'''. found that out beaucoup years ago one trip down scorp way on a smallish 5-7' ground swell. Our reg. singlefin shorties wouldn't make it, but paddled out on our 7 1/2' guns got it all done and we could still ripp the tops off!! without breakin out the longboards- kooks )))

Yeah, I surfed the tables in the morning and the streets in the afternoon and again on the second day. I avoided Satellite Beach and further south to get some LB waves. I'm needing some cross stepping lessons/advice. I just started long boarding and keep my feet too planted (shortboard habit).
