CERTON ...

.... yes I KNOW she is a busy busy 'girl'
(although I do remember a day in May of 2013 when she was idle for 2hrs and 23 minutes
- I think she sat on the couch without moving)

Yes, she does a LOT for so many and is always willing to step up to the ... tee.
(except in this case due to a worthy prior commitment)

I doubt I will find another worthwhile caddy.

OK Burry .......... it's YOUR turn to step up to the TEE!!
(....and when I say tee, I don't mean tea. Ain't no crumpets on this course)

Don't pull a Double Bogey on me and tell me you're just resting,
while you're lying somewhere in the bunker and can't find your ball.
When you get OLD you can rest.

No Fat Shots, no Flat Swings.
A Floater in this case, does not mean you are on the Top of the Wave.

Follow-through and tee up.

If you need a Paddle Grip, let me know. (It's not the same as paddling a board.)

"FORE" does not mean you get four tries to hit that little white speck 'tween your legs!!

I accept...I'm in.
Be forewarned, I am doing this without the benefit of having
the best caddy who is not available.

Remember.... don't yell if you hit a Son-in-Law. It may not be what you wanted but it'll do.

Also...don't pull a Rock Hudson by saying you thought it was straight but it wasn't.

I'm sure this will turn out good. We're gonna be hittin' that little white ball with the Sweet Spot

And that's NOT a BEACH ....it's a Sand Bunker !!!

We need TWO more right???

If our scores aren't that great, we'll just head towards the Nineteenth Hole.

Lets get this thing going
Dan the Mulligan Man

"Ready Golf"

so let your desires be known!!)

We got a ringer!!

Wow, what a great read Sunrise!  I have limited access these days from remote locations of CR so I just read the posts... We're already seeing support from all over with donations and sponsors/players lining up for the event, so THANK YOU!!!

Matt and his family are truly appreciative and this could turn into a memorable 2ndlight gathering for the history books in support of a true 2ndlighter as he fights to get back in the water... Were you there?!

We are booked!! and (almost) ready to tee off...

.... just need clubs, ball, cart, caddy, clothes, shoes and hat. I think that'll do it.
Ohh yeah ...some tees and an umbrella.

Anybody else out there that think they can hit a 'lil white ball half as well as they
paddle and surf?? Think you're better than our group??
You know, we might have a ringer...

Time to Step up to the PLATE ... tee.

I'm thinking 3 clubs for me...

... a driver, a 5 or 7 iron, and
a putter (just in case I get on the green)

Any more clubs than that and I have to make a decision (which would probably be wrong)
This way I can always use the excuse - "that's all I have"

A lot easier to carry too. Will I even need a golf bag?

Ohh, and 3 doz golf balls should do it.
I'll never find white balls in all that white sand and I'm not going in the water with those crocs!!

We're "hi-jacking" surftech's thread, but I'm gonna buy raffle tickets on the Eventbrite site AND
at Cafe Surfinista on Nov 8th.

Green Latern, I sent you a PM.  You can stop by too see the board if you want.  The raffle will be up soon.  It's my fault for not getting the PICS.  I haven't been home during daylight hours to take them.  My uncle(surfer sensei) will let us know when the raffle is running.

Btw, thank you Melody for the Florida Women of the Waves golf tournament hole sponsorship!  We hope to see you at our event after your event before your other event in any event.

greetings and many thank you s to everyone who has been interested in helping out matt.
i have surfed and worked with matt for many many years now doing the watermans challenge
annually and hes always been there for everyone including myself .

-now the latest good news

millennium foam's local rep todd frazier has stepped up and donated a really nice high end longboard blank
that i am going to shape for the live auction longboard . i also secured future fin and box from bill kerwin of future fins florida.
and i chatted yesterday with the legendary pinline guru chris birch about doing some one of a kind resin pinlines..
the board is going to be a classic poly noserider style board with all the bells and whistles kinda similar to a
takayama "in the pink" with full laminated color ,gloss and resin pinlines etc... a true work of art high end board.
i would like to see it raise some serious money for bellina's benifit.
if i was retailing this board as a custom order it would start around $1,000.00+ range
so tell all your friends to be there . thanks and keep getting better day by day matt !

Tim, I will be there! . Keith, we are so grateful for the work you are doing getting the board shaped. I hope someone bids it up so I don't have to buy it myself!

I'm allowed to bid or buy raffle tickets for the other stuff right?  I really want to buy raffle tickets for the board Keith is making.
