Winds had backed off a bit when I got to the inlet. Some big chunky waves and some pretty gnarly conditions mid break. On my first paddle out I looked behind me after paddling awhile and numerous duck dives and I was only 15 feet from the beach. Lots of water moving around inside. Actually got out and walked up the beach and then made it out but not without a bit of a paddle battle. It was disorganized and tough to be in the right place but some clean faces with shoulders holding up and waves had punch. Had a couple break outside that were probably 6-7 ft. Caught more of the 4-5 footers closer in.

This was my experience as well at the local rock reef.  Doesn't look like much from the beach but there are some bombs that come through.  A few slab-like waves too!

Indialantic was big, peaky and really lumpy. After the tide starting going out it got worse. Hopefully the incoming will be a little better.
