Bigger and choppier than yesterday. Maybe chest high. Lots of wind. God bless.

Vero South Beach already had plenty of wind before 8 am. If yesterday dusk produced some chest high, today's a bit bigger but messier. The usual early mornng beach denizens were mostly missing. Lots of crab tracks from overnight. Edit: nice shot by Tip, below. Edited: 04/17/2014 at 07:00 AM by ww |

Fri morning low tide is 4:30... so dawn patrol = no wind, no crowds and 4' maybe head high surf low incoming ; ) ------------------------- get up early and go surf - it'll make that hangover go away and/or make the workday more tolerable :) |

There were a few keepers at the BW during lunch today. Nice to get the shortboard wet.
