What's that black junk in the water at the pier?? I watched it for a while and it's not cloud shadows. Hopefully it's just some huge seaweed rafts?!

No laps for me. That's a no-go while holding the new baby (precious as she is!). Yeah Mr. 3000, I'm no stranger to that sparklingly clean location in "Cocoa", so I was HOPING it wasn't what I thought! And you talkin' bout my snot post? Sir that was no joke. Maybe it's been too long since you had snot-nosed little rugrats but I'm sure there was a parent or two on here that benefitted greatly from that there gem of useful information. And as for new lows? Maybe the past month of sleep-deprived, no surf no sex (doctors orders) poopy diaper stupor is twisting my brain a bit, but I'm sure down deep I'm still the respectable nice young man my momma hopes I am

In 2011 the tourists thought an extreme low tide meant a tsunami was coming.

In 2010 the tourists thought all those dark areas were patches of oil.

In 2009 the tourists would run out of the water if they saw a sting ray.

But this one hasnt changed     doplhin fin=Jaws

And also jellyfish bite people.

These are all true in the mind of a tourist.

Nah, I'm not racist.

But last time I was at the pier I did see a lot of white trash floating around!

pulled in to 6 feet of water, 1 mile north of the pier on Sunday AM because we spotted on of these bait pods, threw my cast net once....more bait than my livewell could handled.  Yes, the bait pods can be big, and solid dark with high fish density.
