Saturday, June 16th, the Cocoa Beach Surf Museum will be screening the movie, "Barefoot Adventure," from the Bruce Brown Retrospective Surfing Movie Series at the Cocoa Beach Library. Doors open at 6:30, and the movie starts at 7:00 p.m. Join us for this free movie and enjoy complimentary refreshments provided by Sunseed Co-Op.
The third movie from the Bruce Brown Collection, "Barefoot Adventure," was filmed in 1960. It explores the trials and tribulations of the barefoot adventurers from the Wedge to Waimea, Honolulu to Huntington, Santa Cruz to Kauai. This film features a Bud Shank musical score, brand new narration and some of the biggest surf ever ridden, including the legendary Point surf at Makaha.
