Whatever price you agree to will not be the price you pay.  Check tripadvisor for detailed reviews on a lot of the rental companies.

Ada, then economy, but some others have gotten better. I had a bad experience with "American" rental cars one year when I did some package deal.

Always used Economy and never had problems. Used U-Save last time, we rented two little SUVs and had a tire blow on my buddy's. The spare was bald of course, but made it through the rest of the trip, they charged him $75 for the tire.

I've used Vamos4x4 twice and they've been good to me.  Always at the airport to pick you up and never tried to fuck with me on the price or condition of the truck after.

I rented from them and didn't have a problem but I was a little worried because there were some really pissed off people in the office when I was filling out the paper work.   Wherever you rent make sure you take plenty of time inspecting the car before you take possetion of it.

Nico, I help travelers with rentals from U-Save, EuropCar, and Adobe. All three have good service, newer vehicles, and low prices (we get lower rates since we send them a bunch of clients and ask for an advance payment). However, U-Save has some high costs for insurance which you need to factor in.

Every car rental agency there has had some problems, but that is why you get a travel agent to help with any troubles with any suppliers. Vamos also has a good selection and decent prices.

Let me know if I can help further.
