Really not all that "experimental", although this is the thinnest one I've made. It has lots of rake and fairly decent flex. I might need a test pilot for this one.
Bamboo, 7 1/2", 5" base, weight is 6 oz., red pigmented chop-filled bead.

I just got a brand new neckbeard from the raddest shop in town.....THE LONGBOARD HOUSE! YEAH IM STOKED. Only cost me 800 bones what a deal cant beat that with a lead pipe. Can i throw this badboy on there and see how she handles the swells? |

Well, , , , You might just need a fin this deep on that tiny Neckbeard, if you're going to charge anything over head. That wide of a tail will always get too wiggly on hard bottom turns. Those tiny fins just do not let you get any good grip to turn off of on the bottom. I always rode a 10 inch fin in my 6'7" when Monster Hole got double plus; a tiny 8 incher would spin out every time. Always used a 8 inch in all of the less-than-six-foot boards. As you get more experienced you'll be able to make better judgements.
