Just got out of the water in satbe. Its glassy, 2-3 feet, kind of weak and closing out. Not that good. However, maybe with the tide coming in it will get better and bonus is that the water is warm. It felt good to paddle around but the surf wasn't any good.

Plenty good and fun enough for me.

Paddled out just as the big orange ball was starting to peek over the horizon.
The first hour was the best with just five of us in the water. A little more crowded
during the second hour but everyone seemed to be spread out or slowly
drifting by me....

Caught plenty of clean glassy waist plus lefts and quite a few
chest high clean glassy speedy lefts, ...with cutbacks, nose rides, and a few off the tops.
Yes, the lefts were really fun.

Maybe it wasn't the greatest, or not the best ever, but well worth it. The first hour
was so quiet with dead calm winds, you could lose yourself in a tranquil bliss and and nothing
else mattered. Each and every wave was another journey.
The early morning was one of those days....

did 3 hrs at O'club  super fun compared to what has been out there in 2012. Just me and 50 of our closest friends lol, I knew it was good when the lots were full at 0800. High tide killed it at 11 but if there is anything left the afternoon could be fun

Looks like I'll have to go find a sandbar this evening to find some low tide lumpers.
