After the dawn patrol sess, stop by, pick up some plastic!

Visit http://www.raptoberfest.org/  for more details about Raptoberfest or just make it a family affair and come on out.

It's sponsored by Rusty and Cliff Bar, so there will be prizes.

Mahalo!

Cynics will say, "in the big picture, it doesn't matter", but every little bit helps.  The turtle who doesn't swallow the plastic bag will think it mattered...karma

And when that turtle goes on to lay eggs and a handful of those offspring make it to maturity and continue the circle of life.......You are exactly right!!!

Not to mention sea turtles eat those annoying jellies

As a surfer we receive so much from the ocean; it is only right to give back!

Always pick up more trash than you bring to the beach!!!

Remember to recycle whatever you find or the junk is being shifted from one spot to the next......the next being a landfill where hundreds of animals congregate to nibble on plastic.

thanks for the link

Even better, upcycle it if you can and avoid buying something else. I think Surfrider's RAPoberfest's site has a contest going on with making art from beach junk. I'm totally doing this- I hope some others around here will as well!
