Spectrum is holding a surf contest on May 29th 2010, the contest is being held at South Speccard Holland state park just south of melbourne beach. The contest will start at 8 a.m. Saturday may 29th and if there is a lack of waves will possibly be postponed for the following weekend. The contest is only $15.00 and is a fundraiser for helping with the oil clean up process. There are plenty of prize packages for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each division. Mens division will have a 1st place cash prize. $$$$ MENEHUNES (11 AND UNDER) BOYS(12-15) JR.MENS(16-20) MENS(21-30) MASTERS(31-40) SENIORS(41 AND UP) GIRLS(16 AND UNDER) WOMENS(16 AND UP) LONGBOARD(ALL) AIRSHOW(ALL) POSSIBLE SPONSERSHIP SO GET IN THE CONTEST AND POSSIBLY ON THE SPECTRUM SURF TEAM There will be a raffle towards a brand new board as well as a bbq and bake sale. Surfshop owner monique richter will be making super sick one of a kind trhopys for the contest. , Craig's middle son Benjamin Bobbitt and Monique Richter bought it from him. They will be making great changes for the better of the shop , Hoping to pump the shop back up to what it was and even better . Its the second generation to Spectrum Surf Shop. We still have the same Shapers and will continue making more Spectrum Surf boards. The future is looking bright for the shop. Now we just need to stop this OiL Spill ;(
