I lived in NSB for four years and loved every minute of it! "Moth Orchid" 30 x 40 oil on linen I didn't normally paint flowers, but my wife brought this orchid home and I thought I would give it a try. What you see in the background are brush strokes. I didn't want just a flat dead background and this provides a bit of motion to the eye.
