long 2 months up there. Very senic, I wish I had a better camera. Glad to be back home.

Some Pics from the Kenai Peninsula:

Stellar Sea Lion Colony near Kenai Fjords

Harbor Seals

Sea Otters

Orca

Humpbacks

Harding Ice Field Glaciers

Went up in this chopper and flew over a really nice left in front of a glacier lagoon rivermouth.

Saw an Alaskan wolf walking across some mountain snow. Best shots I could get with the distance and sun behind the mountain.

A few more
Some eagles with Mt Redoubt across the cook inlet on a really clear day.

Most of the moose gave birth to calves the 3 week in May. Lots of little 2 and 3 day calves running around town with momma moose keeling a close eye out. Note the scars on mommas belly. Brown Bears hunt moose in the early season when they awake from hibernation. The fish are not running yet, the plants are just starting to turn green. They can dig roots or chase moose and caribou.

Black Bear digging for roots. Sitting near a gravel road pretty deep into the wilderness. We startled him when I backed the car up to do a double take. He ran about 10 ft and continued eating.

Kenai lake, glacier fed lake gives that greenish carib color. World class salmon and rainbow trout fishing here.

My family and I did AK a few summers back. Best trip we've ever done! Spectacular, breathtaking scenery. Abundant wildlife.

Did you go to Denali National Park?

We went to this small town called Talkeetna. We found a little diner called 'The Roadhouse', some of the best food I've ever had. With pancakes bigger than the plate!

We also did a helicopter tour and hiked on a glacier. I'm not sure which one it was but the helicopter ride alone was amazing!

And then walking through Juneau was a lot of fun as well.

We said if we want to comeback and do the cruise again from Vancouver but instead of doing the cruise tour afterwards, just renting a car and doing our own thing. Otherwise this trip was amazing, I reccomend doing it at least once in your lifetime.

I did not go to Denali. Closest I got to there was a sunset silhouette shot of McKinley from my hotel in anchorage. Which was 90-100 miles away.

all of these pics were taken on the kenai peninsula.
