Timmy got two photos in the new "Indian River Lagoon Calendar"
You can pick up a free calendar or two at any Brevard County Library after December
5th. They go quick.
First one (eagle) will be the July full page photo. Got second place and
a nice little reward..
Second one (white heron family) will be an inset, not sure what month.
They print several hundred of these to give out in the name of conservation and
caring for our treasured lagoon system. Always some great photos and information.
I'm honored to be included in the mix!

Congratulations.

This is an acknowledgement of some sort, in my opinion, of the skill levels of owners of wildlife/nature photos posted in this forum.

Thank you for sharing.

Took a while for them to get to the libraries, but they are there now.
Picked up a couple today.

Nice calendar.
Your insert picture is on for the month of March,
as I'm sure you know by now.

Thanks for your quality work and contributions.

Good Job Timmy.

ps - and it's a 2012 calendar

Thanks Dan!

I corrected the mistake, yes it is the 2012 calendar

Yeah they did not release them until "after" Christmas this year.
It's really cool they give these out for free, most libraries still have copies.

Here's the July page with the eagle shot.

(the green lines are from my crappy scanner..)

Great photos for a good cause. The Eagle shot is wayyyy deserving of the full page it got.

(I thought maybe you'd get a shot of a Black Bellied Whistling Duck doing a frontside grind on the coping.)

I pick up a calendar at the library and was stoked to see your shots.

Great job!
