I sure remember those rockets out front. Lived on base 67'-69'. I guess you can't stop progress.

My family lived south of the building on School ave. We used to buy candy at the little shop inside the building and walk down the beach to the officers club to surf. I remember when the I Dream of Genie crew filmed them getting married at the club I was about 15. I sure miss surfing at Patrick.

I lived on Patrick Air force base late 60's and attended Delaura Jr. High, surfed with Jim Tillman, Pete Peterson and Terry Anderson at pinic tables and Patrick pier. Where are you guys?

The blueprints for this place are insane... one of the interiors of the 3 buildings is a Giant prefabricated clean room..Giant Laboratory if you may..

QuimB..

Do you work there ?

One of my best friends is a Program Manager with BAE there and he can't wait to get into the new digs.

And, yet, if the defense budget is cut, "there will be battalions without bullets."

I do not, I'm a commercial contractor and I estimated the budgeting for interior construction with the company I used to work for.

Funny, they didn't mention it was known as the Technical Laboratory or Tech Lab for most of its life. It started w/o windows, then got windows, then lost windows after 9/11.
