Any number of local Brevard shapers could make you one or just buy one off the rack. Believe me, you DO NOT want a late '50's or early '60's longboard as an every day ripple rider. The lack of rocker and glassed in "skeg" positioned all the way back on the board, lets just say, makes the "Challenging" to ride. That said, something like a late '60's old Weber Performer, Surfboards Hawaii Model "A" or Hansen 50/50 would be GREAT! But try finding one of those in decent shape for less than $1,500 or so. I'd say have one of the more "mature" shapers around (wink to Balsa Bill) make you one that feels the same but has the modern "goodies" shaped in that make them fun as hell to ride. Still cheaper but with an equal or superior fun factor.

I love looking at them to, but would not want to use one of the those late '50's early '60's models as an everyday rider.
