1966surfer Posts: 70 Joined: 08/30/2007	Duke was my best surf buddy from way back and we lost contact around 1978. A most classic trip was the maiden voyage of a blue metalflake dune buggy he built that we took "up coast" from Miami leaving there about 3am New Years day 1971. The temp was 35 when we left and probably about 30 when we arrived at the south jetty of Ft. Pierce since we new the north side would be totally blown out an unrideable. I don't think we lasted more than 5 minutes in the water, then returned to the open air buggy and bolted to a hot shower. Duke may have moved to Melbourne about 1980. Any info is appreciated and no I am not a PI or a cop. Duke served in the Navy and was my best man at my wedding.

Has had Trip since elementary school, and a few other, more derogatory nicknames sine! Hope u find your friend, but had 2 post that; it was just 2 good! lmfao!!! ------------------------- tubes, doobs, and boobs: thats the american way and id rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labotomy!
