Thanks for the notice. I haven't been to Leu's in a very long time.

I'm debating about going to this one. Have not been to this particular sale, is it about the same size as Vero's Gardenfest? I've been to this garden many times and I don't recall there being a lot of parking. |

I heard it is a madhouse in the past. Hard to find parking. Bring a wheelbarrow.

Parking is a mess. A good area is on a cul de sac east of the Gardens fence. Gardenfest actually has more vendors, but they stray away from plants into patios, garden ornaments, tools, all sorts of stuff. Leu has a bit more than 50 vendors, plus several more with refreshments. Leu's own plants are good--I have a nice Archontophoenix maxima that's one of theirs. Edited: 03/10/2017 at 01:16 AM by ww |

Possibly the most cars in a long time on 11th March, Saturday.
From 10:15am to 12:06pm, I drove around outside the garden looking for a parking spot like so many others. I almost gave up when my car was let in. The weather was great and that could have been a factor. I talked to their front office later about the traffic issue. She said that there was simply no possibility of any additional parking space inside or outside the garden in the immediate future. Their suggested best times were between 8am and 9:30am on saturdays of the tree sale. |
