OK, which one of you guys is styling around in the new model 3 I saw?

Ya, you with the surfer tags

Nice ride!  Give us a review.

Tesla says 200+ mi range, 0-60 in 5.1 and $35K before incentives.

100K mile/8yr warrenty on the battery too.  Not too shabby.

Just for comparison, 0-60 is 7.4 for the Chevy Volt and 11 for a Prius.

Camaros and Mustangs with performance packages are getting 4s.

If you need faster, the Tesla S, yeah, the "sedan", will get you there in 2.5.

Incentives:  https://www.tesla.com/support/incentives

The tasty one is the $7500 tax credit.

There are a couple of Tesla 3 cars where I work, one belongs to a friend and I had a chance to check it out.  Nice cars, like the styling...kinda timeless, will still look good 10 years from now.  He says it it will do 0-60 in the high 4 second range. Have an acquaintence with a Tesla S (again, very nice on the inside and a timeless body style) and he says he does low 4 seconds (not sure exactly what model Tesla S it is).  I was teasing him that it has to be the most disappointing 4 seconds of his life.    All you get is the electrick whirr and no smoke or roar.    I'll keep my Hemi...at least for now!  Ha!

I test drove a Model S, and that's what I missed the most as well... the sound! It had gobs of torque and really cool technology but I didn't think it was all that fun. The regenerative braking would take some getting used to as well.

"hee haw, hee haw" sound of the modem kicking in before

she could get onto her AOL account....

Sorry!
