Does anyone know anybody in Brevard that does these and does work in South Patrick? Want to replace my wood with concrete

I just had a new wood fence put in pre-irma, now it is leaning. Ugh. Concrete gotta be expensive, but last a lifetime!

What about 6’ chain link with the green inserts until your foliage grows up?

Pondering this same dilemma.

I've actually seen several cinder-block walls toppled over after hurricanes. You need to pour at least the bottom block or two, and then add some rebar to reinforce vertically every so often.

I built the crap out of my new wood fence, and it did fine during Irma. I used 10' 4x4 posts with 80 lbs of concrete in each, and they're spaced 5' apart instead of 8. 16' 2x4 stringers interleaved. 6x6 lumber for gate posts. Premium 3/4" pickets on both sides. Stainless steel hinges and hardware, 6 deck screws holding in every picket.

If a concrete wall isnt done right the it is pointless to waste money. I want someone to build a wall like all those I see along the beach that have lasted 50+ years through multiple hurricanes. Figure I have a good 30-40 years before I am dead or the ocean takes my house. That would be 3 wood fence replacements vs 1 properly done concrete.

My neighbor just put up a wire fence to keep the dogs in and planted a hedge to cover the ugly.

I had concrete work done by Sunny Concrete. The work is excalibur. Not the cheapest, but when all is accounted for it was a complete job for the price. No additions or extras. When the job was done there was no cleanup or call backs.

The block and the stucco is the easy part. Your footing, columns, bond beam all tied together with steel is the critical part. Stiegleg makes EPS forms to pour a bond that is also a decorative cap. 

I learned the expensive hard way before I called Kenny.

I'll second Joe,
I have a lot of wood fence of various levels of age and quality of construction.
Most of them have sustained damage in each hurricane.
But the one side stretch that my neighbor and I split and he insisted we do right, from a pro, done with heavy boards and long spiral nails hasn't so much as lost a board in more than a decade.
