Clicked on a few YouTube videos that had the former Canadian Defense Minister in them. He's pretty point-blank about it; every country seems to have their own agenda/goals, and that the different aliens seem to too.

Whatever, but one interesting take of one of the speakers had a pretty straight forward take on why there has been no official "disclosure": let's say that the President spills all the beans. OK, there you are, its all true. But, the human and alien ships are being powered by something far more powerful that "oil". Boom, the world is instantly in a "post petroleum" state. How many tens of trillion dollars of oil infrastructure rapidly becomes worthless. NO! We just can't have that!

Oh, and, yes, I'm on the side of the "yes there is" argument. I'm not too sure what really is going on, but Mrs. Dingpatch really has officially "been there" and seen some of the "shit", although she Will Not talk about any of it.

I spent some time looking into Dr. Steven M. Greer and his ideas- came to the conclusion that he is a con man. There is a video on Youtube put out by him where they were actually on the beach down in Vero Beach and the group supposedly meditated and "conjured up" aliens who presented themselves as lights out over the ocean.

There is a radio/podcast interview with him after that "encounter" where he goes into great detail to point out that the light could not have been flares, not even electronic flares on parachutes- since there was such "high winds" at the time when they shot the footage. That these "high winds" would have made the flares drift, and they did not.

But the thing is, he was lying out his ass, because if you view the footage of the "encounter" it is QUITE obvious that there was NO WIND whatsoever on the beach that night- it was unusually STILL. You can tell becuase you can see palm fronds and sea oats all around them and they **aren't moving at all** and we all know that dune grass and cabbage palm fronds here are almost always moving with some wind.. and if there's anywhere near what you would call "high wind" that anything on the dune is blowing around like crazy. It is really unusual for dune fronds and grass to be sitting perfectly still. You would remember how still it was because it is not that common here, and you wouldn't later be saying you remember how WINDY it was.

So basically what this means is he is making up crap about the event and he had people shoot flares off from a boat offshore, and they acted like they were aliens. scam.

I mean, why do these "aliens" also have to be like 5 miles away? They can't "pop up" like right in front of you? DUH

Neither Tommy or Will. He was a nice older guy with a bunch of stars on his shoulders, and Mrs. Dingpatch was his personal assistant when needed and she had complete clearance for everything on his desk. He mostly stayed at a place in Langley, Virginia, but the Mrs. traveled all over the world with him (as "civilians, with "contractor" badges!). She had 2 passports, and generally "carried" everywhere (a certain "agency" considered her to be a fully qualified "Field Operative", and between the AF and the CIA, she was trained to protect "Critical National Security Interests" with "deadly force at hand"). She has inferred that he told certain groups within the CIA what their mission was. I did not know him, or the Mrs., back then, being that this was 40+ years ago, but some years later we had dinner with him after he retired. He was a neat old guy. Mrs. Dingpatch asked him about the things they did, some rather unpleasant and otherwise "terrible", his response was that they both had taken The Oath, they had received their orders, they had run the flag up the pole, and they completed their missions. Mrs. Dingpatch really has "been there", "done that", etc.

About 2 years ago, while having a bite to eat and some vodka, we were sitting at the bar and a newly retired Bull Colonel sat next to Mrs. Dingpatch. He had been a SpecOps pilot at Eglin AFB, mostly flying C-130s to deliver "packages" of SF personnel. So, of course, he and she striked up a good old AF talk. Did this, done that, been here, been there. She got into a little bit of what she did in the AF. He asked her, in a strong way, ", , , , what are you talking about?" She explained the level of her clearances and experiences and he thought she was very incorrect. He knew all about clearance levels, because he had been in SpecOps. She told him in a fairly direct way that he had only been an "expendable tactical asset" and, as such, he really wasn't cleared. He was pretty upset! She got up to go to the ladies room, and he asked me what the hell she thought she was talking about. I gave him a little more "background" and he was like ", , , , Oh, I can't talk to her, , ,", he got up and went to sit at another part of the bar.

My take on the Fermi paradox is that technological singularity is the end result of most intelligent life. We will get there before we get out of our solar system, maybe before we even colonize another planet within it. At that point, why bother leaving our star until we need to find another a few billion years from now.
