the first two landings I witnessed no sonic boom. I heard it yesterday morning though, what gives, I noticed the paper predicted it. are there different reentry paths that affect this?

I though that it always boomed when landing here on the ground, just not when at sea ?


This doesn't answer that question, but is interesting anyway.
