Ther is no surf in Orlando, but I built a wave pool prototype in my garage.  There are 2 inch tall waves in my garage.  I have taken pictures and short vid myself, but my skills and equipment (Iphone) arent good enough.

Update: Photos below. Project complete.

Update:  Website draft ready 7-15-17

cool pix! About the hydrofoil in IMG 1300... does that help with performance or what? (asking for sector9)

Thank you NightKro and Dancingwave.

Ends up the iPhone 6s was the easiest to work with and had one advantage.   The iPhone lens is in the corner of the phone.  This allowed me to get the center of the lens 1" and less from the surface of the water.  This helped give the appearance of a water photographers point of view instead of a helicopter or drone shot.  More like most photos we see.  More realistic.  I also tried a new Olympus Tough because its lense was in the corner, but side by side the iphone shots looked beter at this close range.  Maybe becasue the iphone is desinged with selfies in mind.

The point of all this is a new wave pool technology.  95% more energy efficient than current built wave pools, ½ the construction cost, and significantly longer waves.  Hopefully this can all translate to cheaper ride costs.

Please watch https://vimeo.com/216385034 for a short vid of this technology in action.

I'll update when website is up an runing.

This picture is from ThinkTank.  It’s too blue because of my doing, not his.  I painted the bottom blue and died the water blue.  Everything was blue.  I learned better coloring after this mistake.  His equipment shows significantly more detail when blown up than the iPhone.  Probably not a suprise to anyone.  For the sizes I'm posting here they look similar though.

Thanks Glide and StirFry.  The "hydrofoil" your seeing is just a marionette string that didn't get erased.  Ends up these G.I. Joe surfers arn't very talented on thier own.

I am learning alot about small photography.  Lots of trial and error.  ThinkTank came over and we learned regular surph fotography equipment can't get low enough due to size.  He was a big help with water color ideas.
