Only took a quick look, but it seems pretty amazing.  A blazing-fast mirrorless camera.  DP Review.  This, on top of Panasonic's video-oriented Lumix DC-GH5.  Canon and Nikon are of course coming out with new high-end models.   So the upper end of the camera/video cam market looks pretty competitive even as the pocket camera market has been taken over by phones.   I haven't fallen in love with mine, but it has its uses.

DP Review did estimates of how much it would cost for sports photographers to migrate from Canon to Sony.  One problem:  Sony doesn't offer nearly the range of glass that Canon does, at least not yet.

Crazy expensive.  Surf photography/video would come out somewhat different but still expensive.  I still wonder about all those expensive video and still cameras going to places like Tasmania's Shipsterns.
