on River Road in Cocoa & them giving me a ride to the team meetings in CB at either Randy & Jeans' pad or over Hodgson's house. It always smelled so good in that car on the ride!!!! I was 11. Also a classic memory of picking up my new Lightwave/O'Hare team board at the port factory in Sept. 81' to take to Hatteras. My dad had to muscle the door open because it was blocked with half a drum of resin, & when we got in, theres Eric & Marc Rhodes & Eberwien in their boxers and plastic footies, jacked to the 9's, pupils on slinkies, aint slept in days & just boards everywhere!! Led Zep 4 blaring, & them looking at us as if all was normal and saying, "Hey Robert, Hey Sean, your new board looks great!!" I had ordered a light purple single fin, 5'4". It was a baby blue twin fin, but, I Loved that board!!! Gnarly times back then!!!|
